When Marcel Trudeau and his twin sister Marie were born on October 6, 1815, in St-Sulpice, Quebec, their father, JOSEPH, was 27, and their mother, Madeleine, was 23. He married Lucie DAIGNEAU RICHARD and they had seven children together. He then married Lucie Choquette and they had one daughter together. He died on February 18, 1890, at the age of 74, and was buried in Beloeil, Quebec.
